2026 DEKA World Championship: DEKA STRONG - Open

Texas-sized grit meets global competition at the 2026 DEKA World Championship in Fort Worth.

This four-day event features record-breaking championship action along with opportunities for the local community to come out and compete, all amidst the historic charm of the legendary Stockyards.

Looking to be part of the the DEKA World Championship action without having to qualify? Don’t miss your chance to compete on the global stage in the DEKA STRONG open races on 12-13 December. These heats are open to the public so do not require qualification, allowing any athlete from anywhere the world to race on the global stage.

The Weekend Lineup:

Saturday Night, Dec 12 | The Hoedown Throwdown: Once the championship athletes wrap, the lights dim, the music cranks up, and the ultimate Western fitness after-party begins. Grab a partner, throw on your best Western gear, and tackle an epic 2-Person Teams showdown.

Sunday, Dec 13 | Age Group Individual & 2-Person Team Heats: The momentum continues. Step onto the main stage for the official open DEKA STRONG Individual and Team heats. Perfect for beginners and elites alike. Just you vs. the 10 signature DEKA Zones, no running.
